What Is Virtual Organization & Is It Worth It?

Yes, even during a pandemic, you can get help organizing your home, remotely. We call it Virtual Organizing, and more and more Professional Organizers are rolling out their offerings.

The CONS: It's virtual, you still need to do all of the heavy lifting.

The PROS: It's easy to schedule, most providers are offering lower rates, you can work with ANY organizer, regardless of geography, you can make your time productive AF, and oh yeah, your space will finally get organized.

SO SHOULD YOU TAKE THE LEAP AND WORK VIRTUALLY WITH A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER?

It depends. If you like technology, this is your ticket. But if connecting with folks digitally has been tough for you, this will not be a good fit for you.

Logistics: All the platforms you've heard of are available for use (Zoom, FaceTime, Google Hangout, etc.). Folks normally schedule in one hour increments instead of three hours, to avoid digital fatigue, POs are directing you with where to begin and of course advising/directing you as if in-person. Most importantly, it is accountability, which if you've been staring at a mess with no success, it is worth trying.
